A downloadable game for Windows

Escape from the train station before you perish from what lurks in the dark. A short game made for PSX Story Jam #2.

This is my first ever finished small game. I hope you like my silly little horror game.

A bunch of assets here I got for free or paid from sketchfab.
Main character made by me, likeness based on an unrequited love.
AI enemy I got from Smart Poly horror game tutorial.
Audio and music from Freesound. (BGM by Evan Boyerman)

Cover art background is generated with chatGPT. I uploaded a pic of my character and asked AI to generate a scary and retro train background with crawling creeps. (Yes I know AI yuck but I didn't have enough time and it's just a game jam so whatever)

Vewy nice. I want more.

Will try this on my next twitch stream! Saw your game on PinoyGamer's post on Facebook!

😊👍

Tnx for trying it out. Some of my thoughts as a dev while watching:
-Why are you sliding so much hahaha
-It was quite interesting that you tested every mechanic like if the enemy reaching you did anything.
-Awesome to see you looking for the coins.
-I didn't realize I made a couple of mistakes in the level design where the obstacles were too high for the capsule.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I really enjoyed the game.

As for the sliding, it was actually fun to control like that! haha. I always like to test the limits of game mechanics, and searching for coins made the exploration much more rewarding.

Don't worry about the level design—it was still a great experience. Can't wait to see your next work!

COOL HARD

Dang sorry that your fps was lagging I didn't have time nor the knowledge yet to optimize it for lower end hardware.

The game is absolutely enjoyable overall. Even though it’s short, it can make you jump and scream. However, I would suggest adding a basic controls guide at the beginning. Overall, everything is polished . Well done, and keep it up!
